Come and join us for the second Offenham Family Festival on the 19th August.
We have some really great stuff planned for you this year.
Naturally we will have a stage where you can hear great local musicians from midday all the way through to 11pm. The difference this year is that it will be housed in a lovely big marquee so the weather can't spoil it! We are hoping for some good weather though so all the sides can be opened up to make it a great outdoor event.
Also snugly under cover in another dedicated marquee there will be our craft stalls selling various gorgeous handcrafted things. This marquee has been kindly sponsored by Crafters Companion who are soon to open a fabulous store at The Valley. They will also have a stall where you can try your hand at some really great crafts.
We also have a marquee for the little ones which will have activities going on all through out the day including crafts, gardening courtesy of Little Acorns from The Valley, dance classes and much much more.
On the field we have some brilliant bouncy castles and inflatable slide from JDP Leisure, as well as Rainforest Creatures, and traditional fairground games to name just a few.
We are lucky to have The Arden Pig Company providing a hogroast, burger and veggie burgers again this year, and if you fancy something a bit sweeter there will be Alex Lindley with his marvellous traditional sweets and Lisa Smith Cakes with a great selection of cupcakes and delicious treats.
We are also looking forward to Retro Lily coming with a beautiful retro icecream van complete with al fresco café, popcorn and candyfloss.
There will also be a raffle with some amazing prizes again this year. Tickets will be going on sale prior to the festival so keep your eyes peeled for updates.
The bar will be offering some great special offers as well as all the usual beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks.
The event is free entry with free parking on the recreation ground.
Please like the page to keep up to date with raffle prizes and attractions.
Thank you all for supporting us last year despite the weather, we hope that this year we can make it a day to remember.
If there are any local bands that would like to speak to the stage manager please send a private message.
Also crafters, we still have a few spaces left so let me know if you are interested.
