Curious End Cottage has undergone its first two tests and has survived! It’s funny how people do what you don’t expect! Andy had to pop back to make a few adjustments and I’d missed out a significant clue but on the whole we’re delighted with how it went. Turns out it’s quite a challenge - I’ve counted 55 puzzles! I’ve tried to include things you couldn’t do in a regular escape room including a set of puzzles around the village and in unexpected places. And of course, no one is watching you. No cameras and no being locked in. Written clues are available if you need them and you choose how much you use them.
We are offering half price games all next week including this Saturday and Sunday, while we’re still in test phase, then full on bookings from June 6th.Im still waiting for my tech capable son to write the web page and sort out a booking system but the sunshine has kept him from his computer 😝 but you can message me for the content in advance.
Prices will be as follows
Play during the day from 2pm-9pm up to 6 players £300 This should give you time to solve all 55 puzzles and take some refreshment breaks. You’re welcome to bring food and use the kitchen.
Play and stay overnight. There are two bedrooms (double and twin) so ideally 4 players but you can bring up to 6 if you provide bedding/towels for the extra players. £400
Stay in the cottage without playing the game, just as a normal bnb. £130
