Printing snowdrops - pick ‘em, press ‘em (just 24hrs), ink ‘em, print ‘em. Should’ve used a paintbrush, not a roller. I think today was a fail. I’ll try again. Sorry flowers 😔

As the wheel of the year turns, Imbolc (celebrated on February 1st-2nd, 2025) marks the first stirrings of spring. This ancient Celtic festival honours Brigid - goddess of fire, renewal, and fertility - as we transition from winter’s darkness to the returning light.
Traditional Imbolc rituals include lighting candles to welcome the growing sun, crafting Brigid’s crosses, and preparing seasonal foods like dairy and seeds—symbols of nourishment and new beginnings. Snowdrops and crocuses, the first blooms of the year, remind us that life is awakening beneath the soil.
To celebrate, take a nature walk, plant seeds (both literal and metaphorical), or create an Imbolc altar with candles, flowers, and offerings to Brigid. However you honour the day, embrace the energy of renewal, hope, and creativity.

Prints,prints,prints. Prints in frames, prints not in frames. After getting advice from lots of kind makers about printing and packaging, I’ve finally got a few printed and ready to post. It was a bit overwhelming and I didn’t have a clue where to start so now it’s done I feel a sense of achievement that makes me want to do a little dance.
