Classes are on the website for June & July
Just a heads up that we will be closed Mon 27th - Fri 31st July.
There are less Saturdays running over the Summer simply because I've got social plans! (How rude)
We will also be closed for one week at the end of August, but not sure on dates yet.
Timetable will otherwise run as normal, however I will be keeping an eye on numbers, as it does tend to be quieter.

(Not sure if insta will mute this, but it wouldn't let me add the audio separately).

I loved this choreo! And everyone did so well with it 🔥

I took this picture for myself, because that morning my scales told me that my body fat was in the red, and therefore past "acceptable" and into the "obesity" category.

Earlier this year I wasn't feeling great about my figure, so I tried to shed a few pounds, and started weighing myself to keep track of the results.
So many of us become obsessed with the number on the scales - its unhealthy, and the number appears with no context.
I listened to a podcast recently featuring the fabulous and she made a comment about being told she was overweight; she said "Over what weight? Who set this weight that I am now over?" And it's a bloody good point!
I'm 40 next year and finding it harder to maintain the weight I was, I also want to enjoy life and not have to worry if I've got more wobbles than I used to, and also remember that nobody else cares!
I had an eating disorder in my teens/20s - most women I speak to have had similar experiences - and although I don't obsess in the same way now, those smart scales pi**ed me off!
As women, we're always so hard on ourselves, so make sure you ask yourself why you want to lose any weight to begin with - it shouldn't be for anyone else's expectations, and definitely not to reach a target number on the scales. If you want to do it to feel healthier and good about yourself, then find an exercise you get pleasure from and rewards you with endorphins, and then it'll just be something fun that you do as part of life.
But most importantly, find a way to love yourself, and love your body, no matter what curves and wobbles it has - and chuck those scales in the bin!
