My name is Richard Powell, (more widely known among friends as Rich P), I’m one half of Meme (Electronic music events team). I’ve been fully active on the music scene for many years. So it became a natural progression to move these things forward…

Bringing all experiences and ideas to the mix, I’ve decided to create and put together two exciting new projects. CForm Record Label and Connect4Music Radio. All about the good stuff. Expression, creativity, vibes and bringing like minded people together.

Building on the Meme shows and events, where (alongside Julian Zizko), we developed a decent reputation for bringing quality events and parties, including those held at ‘Moog’, ‘The Bodega’, ‘Suede Bar’ and ‘The Angel’, along with a very successful Hockley Hustle event. We also hosted monthly radio shows, one of which on the sadly discontinued & sorely missed (www.myhouseyourhouse.net and Meme Sessions at http://www.ng-digital.co.uk/)… I have also collaborated & come together with the BigFaces (Jodie Parker & Coxie), on a highly reputed party at The Bohunk Institute. An event which honoured the Music Exchange. (A record shop now gone from these parts, but not from our hearts). Then further events with them at Bar Eleven, Rough Trade and the I-Club.

The idea here is a progression on the same ideology – Putting together regular treats and collaborating with some of the best creative talent. Including DJ’s/artists from the local underground electronic music scene. Bringing you live performances, along with the regular radio show DJ sets, (where we’ll be digging into our crates and putting together a blended collection of our fav’s, old and new).
