On Thursday, July 9th we welcome the internationally-acclaimed harpist in a beautiful concert at . Eleanor enjoys a busy career and is an amazing advocate for the harp. She has done everything under the sun as a musician, from performing concertos from America to Australia, to sound spatialised ‘computer music’ in Shanghai, to recording for Naxos, Decca and Champs Hill Records. After our Festival, she will travel to Toronto, Canada in July 2026 for the World Harp Congress, where she will present her 'Lullabies for the Land' sheet music book. This project has raised over £2000 for the Ghassan Abu Sittah Children’s Fund and the Middle East Children’s Alliance.
Eleanor is also a gifted composer and producer, and she enjoys collaborating with other artists, including the visual artist Lucy Cade, with whom she co-created the 2022 art installation Disrupted Icons, The Maternal Gaze.
Watching a concert with Eleanor perform is a truly special event. On July 9th, she will be performing with her chamber music partner-in-crime, flutist Lisa Nelsen, as one half of the .
