I got to create the CUTEST little blue tit tattoo for Linda as a memorial piece for her mum! 🥹💙

The trust people put in me when it comes to memorial tattoos is something I’ll never be able to put into words. Being asked to create something so personal and meaningful will always be such a privilege. ❤️

And you all know how much I LOVE little birds and flowers! I mean, I’m practically covered in them myself! 🤣🌸🐦

I’ve been SO behind with posting! How have I got this behind?! 🤣

Well, I can tell you one thing… losing my voice definitely didn’t help with the voice-over content 😂

I’ve been meaning to post for ages, but I’ve been far too busy sounding like the Gingerbread Man from Shrek to actually get anything done 🤣 So that’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it!

So recently, a lot of you have seen me fall apart a little. ❤️

My life got turned completely upside down in a way I never saw coming, and I’ve probably been more open and vulnerable on here than ever before.

But the upside to the down has been you lot.

The love I’ve been shown has honestly been overwhelming. The messages, check-ins, laughs, distractions and quiet reminders that I’m not doing life on my own have meant more than I can say.

I don’t think I’ll ever forget it.

Then along came Chelle, who gave me completely free rein on her tattoo with the most perfectly timed brief imaginable:

Strong, independent women.

And bloody hell, what a list I had to choose from. 😂

But one felt particularly poignant right now…

Persephone. 🌿🍎

A woman taken into the Underworld and thrown into a life she didn’t choose, who didn’t remain simply the girl who was taken there.

She became its Queen.

Her story represents transformation, duality and returning from darkness. Persephone belongs to both worlds — the darkness of the Underworld and the life that returns above it — which feels strangely beautiful to me right now.

Because sometimes strength isn’t about never falling apart.

Sometimes it’s being thrown somewhere you never asked to go, finding out who you are while you’re there, and eventually coming back a little different.

Maybe even a little more powerful. 👑

Chelle, thank you for trusting me completely with this one and letting me create something that ended up meaning quite a lot to me too. ❤️

So, another day, another slay…

If this was a hot girl summer rolling into autumn, and I was a cool influencer, I think that’s what I’d be saying anyway. 😂

But apparently I’m having more of a sad girl summer’s end into spooky, snuggly season, while piecing my life back together “day by day” — as everyone has very kindly reminded me approximately 748 times. ( trust me it’s more appreciated then you all know )🖤

The other day I posted something quite raw. It felt incredibly personal to put out there, but weirdly… it also felt good. Cathartic, almost.

I think sometimes social media makes it very easy to only show the tattoos, the funny bits, the achievements and the nice little snapshots of life. But the reality is that behind this page is just me — and I really, really care deeply about both my personal life and my job.

And right now, my job is actually one of the things keeping me human.

Tattooing gets me out of my own head. It gives me somewhere to go where, for a few hours, I can step outside of my own life, talk to someone else about theirs, laugh, create something beautiful and have a little bit of escapism from the real world I’m currently trying to navigate.

So… I have a feeling this may accidentally become a slightly diary-esque tattoo page for a while. 😂 Sorry if that’s not your vibe.

But somewhere amongst all of this, I want to work out how to find me again. And actually, I think it might be quite nice to document that — the tattoos, the chaos, the sad days and hopefully all the little wins along the way.

One day at a time and all that . 🖤

Although today’s little win probably needs to be learning how to use dry shampoo properly, because apparently even at 32 I still haven’t mastered that particular life skill.

It’s probably fair to say I’ve been a little quiet on here lately.

What should have been a wonderful holiday for myself and my partner turned into a pretty dramatic change of events. Instead, he left the country without warning, leaving me with just a text to say he’d gone — along with his things and, most importantly, his puppy. 🐶

It’s not in my character to spit venom or publicly drag somebody through the mud, and I don’t intend to start now. But I also don’t want to pretend that everything is completely normal.

I’m currently trying to navigate a really difficult and unexpected change in my life, coming to terms with the fact that the person I genuinely thought was my forever is suddenly no longer in the picture. And apparently I’ve also been unexpectedly promoted to full-time puppy mum in the process 😂❤️

As hard as things are at the moment, I promise I won’t let what’s happening in my personal life affect your tattoo sessions. I’m very good at putting things into a little box while I work and focusing completely on the person in my chair.

But I’m also human. I’m not a robot, and because this page has always just been me, it feels strange to carry on posting as though nothing has happened when, right now, my life feels completely upside down.

Luckily, Sophie — who has tattooed with me before — was in with me recently and brought me a much-needed dose of laughter and joy 🥲❤️ And honestly, moments like that remind me why I love this job so much. Tattooing gives me somewhere to put everything else to one side for a few hours, have a laugh, create something beautiful and just feel like myself again.

I know this is going to be a long ride. My life looks very different to how I thought it would right now, and I’m still finding my feet.

But… one day at a time. ❤️

And thank you to everyone who continues to sit in my chair, make me laugh, trust me with their skin and unknowingly give me a little bit of normality when I need it most. It means more than you probably realise.

I’m away from 4th September until 18th September, and I’ll be back tattooing from the 19th.

I’ll be much less active on socials and admin while I’m away — I’m having a very much needed holiday! 😂❤️

Come set up with me and my madness ! Excuse the hair no amount of dry hair shampoo was saving me today !!

And I have discovered how to use a soap bottle thanks to the guys at for showing me ❤️… big props for the amazing smell I can’t get enough of this stuff ! I also have loads of the aftercare now in guys !

But I managed to surpass my own timing skills on this one I would like to say it’s all because Lyndsey didn’t move a frigging muscle ! Cover up sleeve started we have so much to go but oh god it’s going to be a beautiful sleeve ! More to come here !
