💥CAST ANNOUNCEMENT💥

RICHARD TANN-WATSON as GONZALO
Richard is slightly older than his teeth, and longer-lived than most of his hair. He is an experienced actor on both stage and screen, having appeared in numerous film and theatre productions over the years, including Tartuffe, The Importance Of Being Ernest, and, more recently, the short film Samuel Shaw for Pudding Bag Productions. Despite this, and two degrees in English Literature, The Tempest is his first foray into Shakespeare. It also marks his return to theatre after more than a decade, during which time he has interspersed his day job as an accountant with various bouts of folk singing and ongoing attempts to complete his first book (which he swears he will get around to finishing eventually).

"I’m delighted to be joining the company as Gonzalo. In some ways, he’s the opposite of me (he’s most definitely an optimist, which I’m not), but in some ways I feel connected to him, particularly his accepting nature."

MEN'S MENTAL HEALTH MONTH

June is also the month to consider the quieter battles our male friends and family fight.

Male Mental Health is not often talked about in a way that is constructive. The world we have made nurtures an environment that disregards things that are not clearly visible. Because if it can't be seen then it does not exist... right?

Many Men fight a dark and stormy battle on their own. And many of these men lose these battles. This is not fair, nor is it right.

If yourself or any of your male-indentifying friends struggle with mental wellbeing, then please know you do not have to do this alone.

www.andysmanclub.co.uk has vital resources to help your fight be that bit easier and can connect you with many more people who care about you, love you and understand you.

Together we can get through this.
