Good Luck to Evie-Mae, Scarlett, Mia, Sofia, Anwen and Kitty, first performance tonight at the Theatre Royal in Swan Lake with English Youth Ballet!
We close for the summer break after classes tonight, Friday 17th July, wishing everyone a wonderful summer.
Those attending summer schools, have a fabulous time at Northern Ballet, Royal Academy of Dance London, Elmhurst Ballet School, Malvern Ballet and with Amy at Studio Grace, 2 day classical intensive.

Lovely to receive news of students excelling in sports, talented ice skaters, swimmers, gymnasts, footballers, and water polo is now added to the list.

Congratulations Eva, invited to a trial in September for team GB water polo. And another talented footballer, Jessica has just signed for Nottingham Forest U9s, congratulations from all at GBS!

Final Royal Ballet School Senior Associate class in Birmingham, and an exciting next step ahead as in September Sofia begins the Advanced Associates programme at the Royal Ballet Upper School in Covent Garden, London.

An amazing night watching ‘Still Pointless’ BalletBoyz 25th anniversary performance, here in Nottingham at the Playhouse. So very proud of Seirian! Loved it all, 10 amazing dancers, wonderful programme, enjoyed watching the highlights of the past 25 years and Seirian’s new work Motor Cortex. Congratulations Seirian! Lovely to be there with GBS teachers and also to see many students and parents, past and present, in the audience too. Memorable night and full circle moment for Seirian who first watched BalletBoyz here at the Nottingham Playhouse as a young boy at Gedling Ballet School.
Massive congratulations to Seirian and BalletBoyz.

Seirian is performing tonight with BalletBoyz here in Nottingham at the Playhouse. Reminder classes will finish at 6pm this evening. Good luck Seirian we are all so looking forward to seeing you, many memories of you performing here at the playhouse as a GBS student.
