I'm promoting Extreme Metal gigs in Nottingham, as I don't think there are enough fu***ng heavy bands that play in this city. Nottingham is said to have one of the best Metal scenes in the United Kingdom but it always seems to miss out on the good bands. Therefore, I'm looking for Death/Black/Grind/Thrash/Stoner/Doom/Folk bands (or any combination/subgenre) that would be willing to travel to the E

ast Midlands either for a one off gig or as a stop off as part of a U.K tour. So far we've had bands from all over the British Isles play for us, including bands from Ireland (Northern and Republic of!), as far North as Scotland and as far South as Brighton and Southampton. I'm not doing this to make a profit, I just want heavy bands to play in Nottingham, to spread their influence, get their music heard, make new contacts and maybe to sell a bit of their merchandise. Once I've covered my cost for the venue hire, everything else I make on the door is split between the bands to help with their travel expenses. If anyone's interested in playing in Nottingham, please drop me a line. I'll try my best to hook you up with a suitable gig.
