Meeting Ground Theatre Company Established in 1985, Meeting Ground celebrates a vibrant and eclectic legacy of projects motivated by personal and political obsession.

The company aspires to give voice to the demonized. Building a strong international reputation for new production work of the highest innovative standards and qualities, Meeting Ground Theatre Company has toured extensively throughout Germany, Poland, Italy and the U.K. as well as appearing in numerous festivals. Comprised of individual artists, administered from its Nottingham base, the company d

raws together writers, performers, musicians, directors, puppeteers, designers and videomakers as well as hundreds of local and international participants. At the heart of the company’s artistic policy and vision is the theatrical exploration of what we call “the politics of the imagination”, issues and questions that control the imagination and shape all our destinies. With this objective the company concentrates on new work, both text based and devised. Extensive workshopping combines with developmental research as the central inspirational forces. The performance and workshop projects created by the company are then toured locally, nationally and internationally. Meeting Ground enables exciting academic and clinical research to translate into poetic and radical theatre language. Meeting Ground Theatre Company is looking for a voluntary intern for 2-6 hours pw to support the development of their new project Changing Fashion in 2019!
Interviews in early February.

-Updating website and media
-Developing funding platforms
-Being at the heart of the team whilst developing this community-led project
-Working fortnightly with the artistic directors
-And around 2-6 hours of work a week with opportunity of funding later on.

PROJECT MANAGER (0.5 POST), INSIDE OUT OF MIND
£33K PRO RATA (12 MONTHS BEGINNING MAY/JUNE 2014)

Meeting Ground Theatre Company seek an experienced mid-scale theatre Project Manager to work closely with the partnership team, academics, local health and arts communities to deliver and maximise the potential of the national tour; to project plan and manage the development with each venue including managing the freelance Audience Development Officer; to ensure that all financial, legal, administrative and operational procedures are in place; and to ensure appropriate support for the project delivery team.
