Today in parliament Childnet's "Crossing The Line" project was officially launched. It is a timely launch given the subject matter and the fact that this week is anti-bullying week. If you work with young people, or know anyone who does, this is a valuable resource so please share.

Loreto plays a teacher in one of the films and Junk Shop member Rebecca Paul appears in all three films. We are all very proud of
of Becca's work in this project. You can see the films here:

The Junk Shop post show pizza event is about to commence! I hope there won't be a repeat of the chilli challenge we had when we went to Nandos! So lovely to be able to spend time with our young company....and some members who have flown the nest will be joining us too!

Absolutely delighted that Junk Shop company members Jess and Becca will be performing rehearsed readings at the Nottingham Playhouse tomorrow night.

They join our Artistic Directors, Beth (directing 3 of the plays) and Loreto (performing) and a host of other professionals. The evening is part of NEAT and the plays explore the theme of Brexit.

Tickets are free but must be reserved via box office. Looking forward to it! Good luck everyone!

BBC4 at 7pm tonight - BBC Young Musician of the Year finals. We'll be supporting Sheku Kanneh-Mason who had played in our show "Angels" with his equally talented brother Braimah. Good luck Sheku and I am sorry we made you and your cello be a door! It was an amazing door though!

Hello Junk Shoppers! This post is a request for our alumni and other local actors. I have been contacted by a final year student at NCN who requires 3 actresses for a piece of work at the end of May. The 3 actresses will play the same character. The piece goes inside of mind of the character and explores mental health. If you are interested please messgae me.
