This is the newly completed knit. I’m wearing Kaffe Fassett’s Optical tank top knitted in Rowan Felted Tweed yarn. The knit is primarily intarsia which ended up with shed loafs of ends to sew in. I’m very happy with the sewing in, which makes me a weirdo 😄.

The pattern for Optical is featured in the new book Kaffe’s Palette. Felted Tweed in all colours and book are now in stock. Even better is there is currently 10% discount sale for all yarns and books. Sale continues next week.

My latest finished project … or is it projects! I have been knitting the Lotus Flower Beanie, using a skein each of Malabrigo Rasta shade Glazed Carrot and Rowan Big Wool shade Linen. There is enough wool from both yarns to knit up 2 colour versions. Other colourways are in stock for both Rasta and Big Wool.

Incredibly quick to knit, I completed both hats in a weekend. I am now ready for cold weather 😄
