1. Female presenting, 40+, S Asian/ mixed race with S Asian - role: AL

2. Female presenting, 50+, Afro-Caribbean/ mixed race with Afro-Caribbean - role: SAM

Shard is a unique production set to challenge unconscious bias.

PAY: Profit share (NO budget), travel expenses & food/drinks on the day. The film is aimed at the festival circuit and then for sale as training material

We are particularly interested to hear from actors based in Nottingham and surroundings and those that can easily get to the location.

Shoots 15 AND 16 June 2024
in Nottingham, Sneinton
*You must be available on BOTH those dates to apply.*

Shard is a unique production challenging our unconscious bias.

ROLES
SAM: fe/male/trans, 40-90+, Hispanic/Middle Eastern/ native American/ native Australian/native Polynesian or similar

AL: NB/trans, 16-40, any race/ethnicity/appearance

These characteristics are a little loose, so if you feel you almost make the brief (and are available), do get in touch.

PAY: Profit share (NO budget). The film is aimed at the festival circuit and then for sale as training material
Rehearsals on location from May onwards.
We are therefore particularly interested to hear from actors based in Nottingham and surroundings and those that can easily get to the location. Although we have no actual budget for the production, we will pay travel expenses as well as providing sustenance during the shoot.
