Making these paintings; partly because all my projects rely on other people; curators, organisations, funding bodies, paperwork and process. Many projects take 3+ years to materialise. So I’m making these, just enjoying painting, and probably just as important they are not paintings of a thing; they’re just colours I often use. Just me, paint some rough shapes, I’ve also been making some music. Just nice to fiddle and mess with things without a layer of bureaucracy or permission.
