Using the Tower and underground tunnels below the garden as inspiration, the work examines what it means to exist in states of suspension and the erotic possibility that unknown/underground spaces offer. Drawing from fables and ancient tales of the underworld, the work re-imagines these stories as tales of resistance, using the tunnel as a metaphor for those that exist outside societal norms, challenging dominant culture and inventing different ways of existing.

“Batwings (A Liminal Hymn)” is a track from the band ‘Coil’, from Musick to Play in the Dark Vol. 2 (2000). Its lyrics draw largely from Sir Thomas Browne’s Musaeum Clausum (1684), an imaginary inventory of rare, lost, or nonexistent books, pictures, and curiosities; a fantasy catalogue of objects that never existed: ‘moon-pieces’, ‘snake skin bred from human spinal marrow’, ‘towers built to appear perpetually falling’.

The artists in this exhibition work within a similar logic. Drawing on occult traditions in which objects accumulate charge through use, association, and intent, each practice treats the found object as already significant, a key, a bottle, a game card, a stone, and activates that significance through arrangement. Individually, these things are residue. Together, they become reliquary, talisman, altar.

Sara Blosseville (b. 1994, France) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Vantaa, Finland, whose work explores eco-systemic transformation, girlhood, folklore and cybernetics. She combines craft techniques with digital tools to create sculptures, installations, textiles, garments and publications, favouring homemade, grown, found or recycled materials. Her practice centres on craft as storytelling and domestic ritual as a form of environmental knowledge.

She holds an MFA in sculpture from the University of the Arts Helsinki (2021) and previously studied at ESADHAR, Rouen. Recent exhibitions include “Tender Devices” (2026, Hippolyte Studio, Helsinki), “Hare’s Feet Under A Hearth” (2024, Titanik, Turku), “Where Lies The Strangling Fruit” (2024, Šopa Gallery, Košice), and “Buttercup Button Candy Croup” (2024, with Iisa Lepistö, Maa-Tila Project Space). Group shows include Oulu Art Museum, Pitted Dates (Helsinki), Treize (Paris), WAF Galerie (Vienna) and Twilight Sculpture Park (Montreal). Her work is held by the Finnish Art Society and has appeared in Taide, Ny Tid, Censored Magazine and NONFICTION.

She co-runs Light-Harvesting Complex, an artist-run greenhouse space in Vantaa, and co-organises the Under The Leaf (UTL) art book fair in Helsinki.

ᴠɪᴄᴛᴏʀ ɢᴏɢʟʏ

Victor Gogly (b. 1994, France) lives and works in Vantaa, Finland. Working across painting, collage and sculpture, he seeks to capture the textural and immaterial transitions between human, non-human and animal relations. His beings transform and interact within spectral spaces where physical boundaries are obscured, re-examining humanity’s relationship with nature and holding open the possibility of change. Alongside his visual practice, Gogly is a musician, working with electric guitar, lap steel, kantele, electronics, field recordings and drum machine; his album “Silver Meadows” (2025) was released on TRUE AETHER, the in-house label of TUO TUO project space and residency in Joutsa.

Gogly graduated with a DNSEP (MFA) from ESADHaR, Rouen, in 2019. Solo exhibitions include “Stem” (2026) at 427 Gallery, Riga; “Lunulae #3” (2024) at the Marie Curie Media Library, Saint-Michel-sur-Orge; and “From Larva To Ghost” (2021) at Light Harvesting Complex, Vantaa. Recent group exhibitions include “My Onion Canvases are Ballet The other canvases are also Ballet” (2025) at DS Galerie, Paris; “Gemini Season” (2025) at Cabinet Enamel, Marseille; “The Moon Bends Back” (2024) at SIC, Helsinki; “Small Breathers Craving Life” (2023) at Pitted Dates, Helsinki; “Hole” (2022) in Copenhagen; and “The Gernsback Continuum” (2021) in Montreal. He has held residencies at Hamuro mAiR, Awara, Japan (2026); TuoTuo, Joutsa (2024); and the Old Mine Residency, Outokumpu (2023).

Gogly is one half of Light Harvesting Complex, an artist-run greenhouse project space in Vantaa, where he has curated exhibitions including “Ida’s Flowers” by Lucas Hadjam.

Lucia Amidala

Lucia Hadjam (b. 1995, Bordeaux) is a French artist working across sculpture, video, painting and installation. She studied at the Institut Supérieur des Arts de Toulouse (DNA, 2018) before continuing at the Beaux-Arts de Paris, where she graduated with a DNSEP in 2021, passing through the studios of Clément Cogitore, Hélène Delprat and Guillaume Paris.

Hadjam works with salvaged materials: second-hand clothing, synthetic leather, recovered plastic, 3D prints, found objects. Her sculptures and computer-generated videos imagine a post-human world assembled from our landfill, populated by the fantastical creatures we usually keep contained in fiction. Borrowing from the vocabulary of fantasy, folklore and video games, and limiting her techniques to those that can be learned on YouTube, she composes environments that make no distinction between the online and the offline, drawn to the new forms of sociability, metamorphosis and non-human relation that avatars and virtual space make available.

Solo and duo exhibitions include “Armour Of Contempt” (2023) at Gossamer Fog, London; “100% L’Expo” (2023) at La Villette, Paris; “My Empty Shell” (2022) at Candid Gallery, London; “Eartheater” (2022) at Placement Produit, Paris; “Gambel’s Ark” (2021) at Final Hot Desert, Lake Powell, Utah; and “Ida’s Flowers” (2020) at Light Harvesting Complex, Vantaa. Group exhibitions include “A Single Violet Transplant” (2022) and “Crush” (2021) at the Beaux-Arts de Paris; “Hole” (2022) in Copenhagen; and “Cross-side Crystal; Hybrid Orbital” (2021) at Haimney Gallery, Barcelona.

Alongside her solo practice, Hadjam co-founded the music label and collective Acolora (2015), works in duo with Baptiste Pérotin under the name Molten_C0re (since 2020), and co-founded the collaborative exhibition platform Mycorrhizal Activity (2021). She lives and works in Angoulême.
