Thank you all for your patience and support during our transitional phase moving to our new website. We are aware that our old one is not functioning well at the moment (soon to be a thing of the past). To help with some of the transition we are having a sale! Many items have been reduced by 25 – 50% this will help us streamline several ranges, make a little more space in the shop and it’s less inventory for us to manage on the new website – and you can pick up a bargain or treat yourself – that’s a win all round!

Meet the team! 💜

Ahead of our new website launch we’ve been updating some of our neglected information pages starting with our “About Us” and updating our team photos! So we thought we’d share the team with you all too!

There’s not many of us here & only 4 of us are full time! Depending whether you’re mainly a shop, mail order or event customer you’ll be familiar with some but maybe not all of our faces 😃!

Our window has had a little revamp with the wonderful Embroidered hoops that created during her Graduate internship with last summer ☀️ 🪡 🧵

We love them, they’re vibrant and beautifully made, with some great beaded details. The aim was to help let passers by know what we offer... Are there any that surprised you?

🌟 New Beads 🌟

These really are gorgeous new additions to our 4mm Preciosa bicone range. They’re all part of the special coated range, Heliotrope, Vitrail Medium and Volcano all have a bold half silver metallic finish with flashes of striking colour. Whereas the Light Siam AB2x has an all over AB coating giving them a vibrant red with hints of iridescent pink, purple and blue – photos alone really don’t do these colours justice!

We received a large Preciosa Crystal delivery this week almost entirely filled with bicones 🎉

So the few colours that have recently been out of stock have arrived!

The delivery has also enabled us to put together our popular ranges of bicone mixes in both 5mm & 6mm to compliment our 3mm and 4mm ranges.

You may have heard us mention before that with the help of a grant from the city council we will soon have a new website with a connected till system, integrated card readers and functioning stock management! 🙌 This will improve our lives no end and vastly improve your shopping experience!

We’ve been working on it for a long time, mainly the boring bits behind the scenes, so now we’d love to know the features you’re hoping our new site will have, whether that’s a favourite part of our current site (ie project pages) or whether there’s bit you’re hoping we’ll add or improve. We got these lovely Mermaid tails in a little while ago, they’re cute and fun and we thought they’d go down well at some of the events we’ve attended recently. However we have also discovered that EVERYONE in the shop has been loving them too. 🧜‍♀️

These whimsical, colourful glass pendants have raised quite a few smiles, so we thought it was definitely worth adding them to the website 😃

We’ve been enjoying making a few examples, whether you’re wearing them on their own or part of a bigger design they’re super fun! What would you make with them?
