We had a lovely afternoon today visiting this year's year 2 children at Queensmead Primary Academy in Leicester. They are learning about animals from hot and cold climates so a mixture of our creatures from different parts of the world were there for everyone to handle and learn about. They included Mail Uromastyx lizard Orchid. Uromastyx are adapted to life in the hot deserts of Africa and the Middle East.

We had a Sunday off today. A chance to relax? Nope! Last night Tenrec Mango's viv was accidentally left slightly open and she snuck out for an adventure. So this morning was spent moving everything off the floor in our animal room searching for her. She was discovered snuggled up in a tea towel fast asleep!

We had a lovely morning today visiting . Guinea Pigs Casper & Zeb were there with some of their animal friends for everyone to hold and learn about. The children were calm,gentle and brave. It was a pleasure to meet them!
