Today we helped 6 year old twins and their family and friends celebrate their birthday. The birthday boys chose some of the animals they wanted to meet including Desert Blonde Tarantula Bisbee. Bisbee is calm, gentle and happy to be handled. If you would like to invite her to your party contact us to find out more. 🕷️🤩

Our baby African Land Snails are growing up fast! A rough head count shows there are about 100 of them! They look to be a mixture of colours including albino. They are still free to a good home and will make easy to care for family or class pets. If you would like some contact me to find out more. 🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌

Yesterday Leopard Gecko Cleo went to a party for a group of friends. The girls chose the animals they wanted to meet including a gecko. Cleo and her lizard and snake friends were popular with everyone. Isn't she cute! 🦎😍

We had a lovely afternoon today visiting Cotgrave Memory Cafe at . Blue Tongued Skink lizard Indie and some of his animal friends both familiar and exotic were there for an afternoon of animal handling fun! The memory cafe happens every month and they have different activities going on for people with dementia and their carers. Everyone was very welcoming and it is well worth a visit if you live in the area.

Curly Haired Tarantula Betty has molted today! She took me by surprise as she didn't appear to be in pre-molt. She is a spider who spends a lot of her time in a burrow at home. But she chose to come out of her burrow, make a carpet of web and molt out in the open. Her old exoskeleton looks just like a second spider. Isn't it amazing!

Today Dolly bunny & some of her animal friends visited Oakham Grange Care home in Rutland for some pet therapy. It was her second outing without husbunny Oreo and she was a very good girl. Oreo is an older boy now and semiretired. He spent the afternoon relaxing at home while Dolly made some new friends.

Lesser Hedgehog Tenrec Mango is quite a fussy eater but what she likes she really likes! Mealworms are her favourite. Here she is having a little daytime snack.

Corn Snake Rio and her creatures friends had a busy day today at the Broxtowe allotment open day. She met lots of snake loving children and their grown ups for some outdoor animal handling fun!

Today Cookie bunny, his best friend Rusty and some of their creature friends visited Sanctuary Care The Park Care Home in Derby. We met some animal loving residents, visitors and staff for an afternoon of animal handling fun and pet therapy.

We had lots of fun this afternoon at the Little Oaks Cool Kids Club in Nottingham. Snakes Diego & Jasper and Guinea pigs George & Wilbur were popular with everyone today.
