Today we’re sharing a bit of a change at Gloworm HQ, as Amy is moving away from her day-to-day involvement with Gloworm. 💚
Amy joined the Gloworm family at the end of 2021 through the Government’s Kickstart Scheme, arriving with no previous marketing experience… and it’s fair to say she’s come a VERY long way since then!
Over the last few years, Amy has supported the delivery of five Gloworm Festivals, helped us launch Gilbert’s Big Day Out in Warrington and Light Post Farm, and has generally been one of those people quietly keeping a huge amount of what happens at Gloworm HQ moving in the right direction.
If you’ve emailed the Gloworm info inbox over the last few years, there’s a good chance Amy was the person who replied.
And if you’ve ever received a non-sarcastic response from us on social media… well, that was almost definitely Amy too. 😂
While Amy won’t be as involved in the day-to-day running of Gloworm going forward, she’s very much still part of the Gloworm family, so this isn’t quite a goodbye. We’re hoping we’ll see her back as part of the team for next year’s festival, and maybe we can even persuade her to come along and do a few shows for us too!
Amy has grown enormously since joining us, and we’re incredibly grateful for everything she’s brought to the team, the events and the thousands of families we’ve welcomed along the way.
Things might look a little different without her being around Gloworm HQ quite as much, but we’re excited to see what comes next for Amy, and we’re sure she won’t be able to escape Gloworm completely!
Thank you for everything you’ve done, and continue to do, Amy. 💚🐛
