Today marks my 3rd years of face painting in the UK. 🇬🇧🎨
Three years of colourful designs, glitter-covered hands, happy children, beautiful memories, face painters friendships and so many moments that I will carry in my heart forever. ❤️
Why did I start?
Not for money or simply as a hobby, but because of my two girls. They inspired me to follow my creativity, believe in myself, and build something that brings joy to others. Every brushstroke carries a little piece of that journey. ❤️
Behind the scenes, there is so much more than people see — admin, messages, planning, social media, preparing supplies, travelling, preparing themed designs, practicing, cleaning brushes, and trying to keep everything organised. Some days it can feel overwhelming, and there are moments when I question whether I can keep up with it all.
But then I pick up my brushes.
I see the excitement in a child's (or big child's😆) eyes. I hear their stories and their laughter. I watch them sit still with anticipation and then light up when they see their reflection in the mirror. Those moments make everything worth it. 😂✨
Every smile reminds me why I started. Every happy face gives me another reason to keep going. Every event teaches me something new and helps me grow, both creatively and personally.
Face painting is so much more than a business. It is about connection, imagination, confidence, and creating memories that people can look back on for years to come. ❤️
Three years in, I am still learning, still creating, still dreaming, and still incredibly grateful for every booking, every kind message, every recommendation, and every person who has supported me along the way.
Thank you to everyone who has trusted me to be part of your special moments. I truly appreciate you more than you know. 🎨✨
