We are in the process of setting up a theatre development space in the heart of Nottingham. Once the legal bit has been completed and the keys are handed over work will commence on transforming the building. There will be a large open plan workshop area with adaptable lighting, sound, and staging rigs. There will also be a couple of rehearsal rooms and meeting area. The aim of this project is to provide a self contained technical development space for small to midscale theatre companies, enabling them to put together every aspect of their show before taking it out on the road, or installing it in a separate venue.

As this project develops there will be opportunities across the board for both technicians and performers alike

Currently we are putting together a piece based on a well known novel which is due to be staged next year and are looking for adult performers with a strong background in movement/physical theatre and music to take this to the next level

ok .. so while everything else is happening in the background I am also working on the primary objective of putting on a show therefore please share this around wherever you can...

I am currently working on a new piece which I am hoping will be ready for performance this time next year. It will be entirely self-contained and transportable making it suitable for a variety of venues or open air spaces. The story is based on a novel by a well-known author and will be constructed as a piece of physical theatre with live music and dialogue combined.
The next stage is to get some actors together and start improvising on some ideas. The piece will then be built on the foundations of these ideas.
