A welcoming and friendly, not-for-profit amateur drama group based in Bakersfield, Nottingham.

The Dales Music and Drama Group (formerly The Albion Music and Drama Group) is an amateur theatre group in Bakersfield, Nottingham. The group was founded in 1957 and was originally named the Albion Drama Group, during the 1960s with the increase of pantomimes and plays being performed the group renamed to The Albion Music and Drama Group. In 1995, after the merger of the Albion Church (after closi

ng down) and the Parkdale URC during the late 80s. The group decided to rename to The Dales Music and Drama Group, the first production under the new name was a variety show called Thanks for the Memory as a tribute to the past. The group perform a whole variety of shows including: Pantomimes, Plays, Musicals, Operettas, Revues, Farces and Mysteries.

🕵️‍♂️ Thank you to everyone who came to see our production of Cluedo!

From suspicious alibis to shocking revelations, it was a joy to share the mystery, laughter, and chaos with such a wonderful audience. Your support means the world to our cast, crew, and everyone involved behind the scenes.

We hope you enjoyed trying to solve the case as much as we enjoyed bringing it to life! 🔍🎭

It’s opening night tomorrow!!

Final rehearsal of Cluedo completed last night……🔎🎭

The costumes are ready, the clues are set, and the suspects are prepared to take the stage.

Now all that’s left is the audience… and a murder mystery waiting to unfold.

We are proud of all the cast and crews hard work to bring this brilliant production together, we can’t wait to share it with you!
