Happy show week!! With such a short time until opening night, here are some pictures from our LAST EVER rehearsal before we get to the theatre this week’. We have had the best time bringing this show together and team is so proud of everyone, and we hope you love it!

Last (but certainly not least) is our final ensemble member Lucy! 🎀

‘Lucy is a second year English student who is thrilled to be in the ensemble. This will be her first show with Musicality and she cannot wait to perform in such a fantastic musical alongside the most talented and lovely cast. She is ‘Positive’ that you will love every second of the show and leave feeling ‘So Much Better’ than you did before!!!’

Our penultimate cast member is the lovely Francesca 💓

‘Francesca is a taking a year out from her medical studies and decided it was the perfect time to finally get involved with musicality. Francesca has always enjoyed musical theatre, having previously played roles such as Patty Simcox in Greece and Miss Adelaide in Guys and Dolls when she was at school. This is Francesca’s first show with this society and she is very excited to perform as a member of the ensemble in this incredible show with such an amazing cast and crew.’

Our next ensemble member is the wonderful Vicks! ✨

‘Vicks is a second year French and International Media and Communications student and has been involved with as much as she can in Musicality since her first semester at the university. Last year she was in the showcases and part of ‘Urinetown!’, ‘Spring Awakening’, ‘Home’ and ‘I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change’, which went to the Edinburgh Fringe! Vicks can’t wait to perform with amazing friends in such a talented cast, and is so grateful to be led by an incredible team. She hopes you enjoy the show!’

Our next ensemble member is the gorgeous Megan! 💕

‘Megan is a third year American and Canadian studies student and has been as involved as she could be in Musicality since joining at the start of her second year. She has always loved musical theatre and performing and was a part of drama clubs for almost twelve years before joining Musicality, playing various roles including Pearl in ‘Starlight Express’. Since joining the society, she has been part of the ensemble of Musicality’s last main show ‘Urinetown the Musical’, she was costumes, hair, and makeup manager for ‘Spring Awakening’, and has taken part in a number of showcases. She is thrilled to have the chance to perform in Musicality’s main show again, and has enjoyed every second of rehearsing with such an incredibly friendly, supportive and crazy talented company. She cannot wait for everyone to see this fabulous show, and hopes it brings you as much joy and laughter as it has brought her!’

Ahead of our show (which is in ELEVEN days if you can believe!) we are having one final fundraising event! We will be watching the iconic 2003 film of Legally blonde (of course, the beloved film our show is based on!) as well as having some fun self care activities 💓

We are now onto our wonderful ensemble! First up is Arianna! 🌸

‘Arianna is a first year English Literature student. This is her first show with Musicality and she’s so excited to be taking part! She’s performed in musicals before such as ‘Guys and Dolls’, ‘Into the Woods’, ‘Honk!’, ‘The Pirates of Penzance’, and ‘Little Shop of Horrors’.’’

Our other lovely Delta nu/ featured dancer is Amy!! 🎀

‘Amy is a second year History and Politics student who joined Musicality halfway through her first year. Having taken up musical theatre as a teenager, Amy has been a part of many different shows including '13', 'Our House', and 'Les Miserables'. She is super excited to be a part of the Greek Chorus for her Musicality main show debut! Amy can't wait to perform alongside such a talented cast and for you to see all the hard work that has gone into making this show so amazing!’

And now the lovely Jenna, playing one of our Delta Nu’s, Leilani! 💕

‘Jenna is a first year Psychology and Philosophy student and is so excited to be playing Leilani as part of the Delta Nu’s in this show. This is her first show with musicality after previously performing in shows such as Annie, West Side Story, Fame and more across the West Midlands. She can’t wait to take part in this show and looks forward to many more in the future.’
