This years exhibition is on the 25th of October at St Leonard's. Online artist registration is now open on our website:

The Wollaton Rotary Club’s annual art exhibition has now been running for over 21 years. Last year was once our best ever exhibitions. We had more work and artists than in previous years. In total we had 29 artists and over 180 pieces of work on show over 36 boards. The exhibition sold a number of paintings, print and photography, we sold raffle tickets and the kids free art tables have never been busier.

Inner Wheel once again will be selling a huge array of homemade cakes, biscuits, flap-jacks and more and as always nearly sold out.

If anyone, who didn’t manage to visit this year, would still like a tour of the exhibition there is a video you can watch on our website.

This year we’re back with another incredible one day exhibition. If you would like to exhibit, or would just like to come for a look around, we are booked for the 25th of October 2025 at the same venue… see you there!

Just to let everyone know that this year the Wollaton Park Rotary Club art exhibition raised a grand total of £1K. Which is an incredible total for our club's one day exhibition. The money raised will be split between 2 charities: £600 will go to End Polio Now (this is fund matched by The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation) and £400 will go to Ducklings the Charity of the QMC hospital School.

The Wollaton Rotary Club’s annual art exhibition has now been running for over 20 years. This year was one of our best ever exhibitions. In total we had 29 artists and over 180 pieces of work on show over 36 exhibition boards. The exhibition sold a number of paintings, print and photography, we sold raffle tickets, flower bulbs, and the kids free art tables have never been busier.

A huge thanks to everyone who volunteered their time to make this year’s exhibition such a success and also one of the best organised. We look forward to next year when we can build on this success and reach an even wider audience.

Finally we would like to send a huge thank you to our supporters who donated and supported the event this year. Donations make the running of this event so much easier and also allow us to put on the free activities for local kids and their families.

Exhibiting this year: Robin Perko

An atelier is a historic word for a studio run by a master artist or teacher, where artists learn from each other. Robin studied in ateliers in Florence, London and Salisbury and over time developed his painting skills across Europe. Now back in Nottingham, he runs his own atelier sessions on portrait, still life and landscape painting. Whether he's painting portraits, still life's or landscapes, his unique relationship with the subject finds a personal connection with the day to day. Painting in oils and from life, Robin has built up a large body of realist work. He’s exhibited in the UK, France, Italy and Croatia. His work has been exhibited in the Royal Society of Portrait Painters, the Royal Society of British Artists, the New English Art Club and the Royal Institute of Oil Painters. When not working on his own projects, Robin teaches a wide range of students at different ability levels. These groups include the Soldiers Arts Academy, an Atelier of advanced students at a school in Paris and also one-to-one sessions to develop specific skills for aspiring artists. Robin emphasises that the instruction he delivers is tailored to his audience and also that art is a wonderful therapy.

Exhibiting this year: Caroline McFarlane

My primary interest is portraiture, but I paint a variety of other subjects, working in pencil, pastels, watercolour and oils. I also ‘dabble’ with printmaking.

I grew up in North Wales, but now live and work in Derbyshire. My work has been exhibited in many places, including Derbyshire, North Wales, South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and London and I have won a number of awards for portraiture.

I also love designing greetings cards; some taken directly from my paintings and others inspired by family, friends and just things I happen to see.

I accept commissions and offer portrait demonstrations to art clubs. I am happy to provide prices on request.
