I was kindly tagged on a social media page today in regard to someone looking for a magician in 2028… that’s not unusual when it comes to weddings .. BUT !!… that’s 2 years away and she will only pay what I was charging ages ago !!!…. So it made me think…. What do people think is a good price for a 2 hour gig at a wedding ??…

just curious to be honest …

Went to a comedy club last night …. We sat on the front row and the compère asked me what I did for a living so I told her I was a close-up magician… she said “ I don’t suppose you have any tricks up your sleeve do you ? “…. Then this happened….

My favourite phone calls are from people dicking around after they’ve seen my van parked somewhere or been behind me at lights ….

“Hello is that the erm… Magic Man?”

(Instantly primed my razor sharp wit and charisma)

“Yes it is !!… how can I help”

“I’ve just dropped a hammer on a load of new tiles in a box and was wondering if you could wave your magic wand and put them back together for me!”

( not even a PLEASE !!! )

“Ah sorry mate … what YOU need is a GOOD magician !… I’ve only ever been average at best!!”

“So you can’t help me then ?”

“No mate, sorry…. Would you like Harry Potter’s mobile?….. Even he is a better tiler than you !!”

“Erm”
