I'm much more of a sunrise girl than sunset, but every so often the sky puts on a spectacular evening show and it's impossible to resist. This is one of my favourite tiny views on Millstone Edge - the narrow, winding path, past the whispering birch trees, and onwards up to the gate that opens out to the Hope Valley. It's always at its best when the heather is blooming, every footstep releasing its sweet scent as you brush past.
