🤩 Checking out the fantastically named Geriatric Chihuahua dual overdrive pedal from , and this might just be the craziest pedal I’ve ever played for a number of reasons… 😁

First off, let’s talk tone. It didn’t take long at all to dial in a beautiful, warm, crunchy overdrive using the right channel. Then, with a tap of the left switch to engage the boost channel, I was able to push that sound straight into soaring lead territory. So far, so good! 💪🏼

The more time I spent with it, the more I realised the controls didn’t seem to behave like those on a conventional pedal. Of course, that was based on the assumption that I actually knew what all the k***s did… and you know what they say about assumptions! 🤣

After taking a closer look (and making a fairly obvious observation), I realised this pedal doesn’t actually tell you what the k***s do. The upside? You’re forced to trust your ears and dial it in by feel, and honestly, that’s where the real fun begins. 😁

It’s an absolute beauty and another fantastic addition to the collection. A huge thanks to Anthony at for sending this over. Now it’s time to decorate this bad boy with my awesome sticker pack! 😊🙏🏻

🤩Checking out the fantastically named Geriatric Chihuahua dual overdrive pedal from - and this might be the craziest pedal I’ve ever played in my life for a number of reasons…😁

First off, let’s start with the tone. It didn’t take me very long at all to dial in a beautiful warm crunchy overdrive with the right channel, and then by activating the boost channel with the left switch I was able to take this tone into soaring lead territory. Off to a great start!💪🏼

The more I played with it the more I began to realise that the controls don’t appear to behave in the same way as a conventional pedal does. But then upon further inspection and a fairly obvious observation, this pedal doesn’t actually tell you what those k***s do. Now the benefit to this is that you have to dial this pedal in by ear, and this is truly where the fun begins.😁

It’s an absolute beauty, another fantastic pedal in the collection. A huge thanks to Anthony at for sending this out to me, now to decorate this bad boy with my awesome sticker pack.😊🙏🏻

Got the Les Paul out and ended up going down a fuzz rabbit hole with the Small Cheese Fuzz from 🔥🧀

I’m definitely not a fuzz expert, but there’s something about this pedal that just makes you want to keep playing. From huge, aggressive fuzz tones to sputtery, gated sounds that feel like the circuit is about to give up, there’s a ridiculous amount of character packed into such a small box.

The last clip might be my favourite. That hanging note just seems to go on forever, and if you catch the face I pull around 0:58, that’s a pretty good indication of how much fun I was having with it 😅

Big thanks to Ian at for sending this over. 🙌

Checking out the January overdrive pedal from … and wow, this thing absolutely rips. 🤯🔥

For context, this demo was recorded with a Telecaster using a single-coil bridge pickup, and the January was screaming the whole time. What really stood out to me was just how much control it gives you over your tone. The independent low and tops controls make it easy to dial in exactly what you want, and the clip switch opens up a whole range of different drive flavours.

Honestly, this pedal has me seriously considering a pedalboard reshuffle. 😬🤩 Massive thanks to Ian at for sending this over for me to check out!

I ran this track through Mastering Pro, which is included in the LANDR Studio plan, just to see how it would handle the final polish.

What stood out to me wasn’t a drastic change - it was how the master felt more open, punchier, and just a little louder while still keeping the character of the mix intact.

Sometimes those subtle improvements are exactly what a track needs to feel finished.

What do you hear in the difference? 👇

I’ve been using the new Softube Bus Processor 670 for a few days now, and it feels like more than just another Fairchild-style compressor. It has that smooth, rich glue you’d expect, but with a much more modern and flexible workflow.🤩

The standout for me is how easy it is to shape the tone. The separate tube and transformer controls let you add subtle warmth or heavier vintage colour without overdoing it, and the Classic/Modern modes make it easy to switch between smooth and tighter compression styles.🎛️

So far it’s been great on my mix bus, drums, vocals, and mastering chains. Overall, it feels less like a strict vintage emulation and more like a modern take on the Fairchild idea - which honestly makes it far more useful in real-world mixing.💪🏼

The original Bus Processor has been my go-to since the day it was released, I wonder if this will replace it…😊

Checking out Strata by which is great for adding texture and a more cinematic landscape to music. Here I’ve taken a simple piano arrangement and didn’t even tweak the preset because of how badass it sounded. Included in the Landr Studio plan and well worth checking out!🔥

🔥 This pedal seriously caught me off guard…

Been jamming with the Conviction overdrive from Roma Devices and the tones coming out of this thing are ridiculous. Paired up with the Charvel humbuckers, a slightly pushed amp, and an EVH-style IR, it delivered that perfect balance of saturation, bite, and clarity.😬🎸

What I loved most is that the amp was only set to a barely-breaking-up crunch tone, and the pedal just took everything to another level without losing definition. Absolute monster of an overdrive.🔥

Big thanks to Ricardo at Roma Devices for letting me try this one out 🙏🏻

🤩Checking out the new expansion pack for ControlHub. As one of my favourite producers of all time I’ve been super excited to get my hands on this!😃🙌🏻
