The Holloway is proud to present a stacked double bill for only a tenner!

Thurs 4th June
7-11pm

Formed by two nomadic musicians, Passepartout Duo (USA/IT) makes music that has been variously described as experimental electronic, post-minimal, ambient.

Their live set is brought to life through an ecosystem of DIY musical instruments developed through the years. Their work is defined by a focused exploration of multilayered rhythms and simple melodies, exposing process-driven music that lives in between composition and improvisation, electronic and acoustic sound. The two musicians cultivate a quiet intensity that draws listeners into the inner mechanics of sound itself.

Garden Centre is a UK-based “gnome-pop” or erratic art-pop band led by Max Levy, featuring members of Porridge Radio, Joanna Gruesome, and King of Cats. Known for quirky, DIY-style music focusing on themes of suburban boredom, nature, and industrial debris, they have released several albums, including Searching for a Stream (2023) and Monster Energy (2017).

*Very Limited Tickets*

The East Anglian Landscape Network will be hosting an evening with English Heretic at the Holloway, Norwich, on the 13th September.

Andy Sharp will be discussing his work with Justin Hopper and showing two rarely seen films that he made with Mark Fisher — Bleak and Solemn and Unvisited Vastness. He’ll be talking about the ideas behind these films and the source material used for Unvisited Vastness. English Heretic will then perform an A/V set of entirely new material from a work in progress “Architecture and Its Double”, a project that reimagines ruins, military bases, and industrial age buildings as religious and alien structures of some parallel future.
