The Twelvemo figures are articulated human forms, made in one twelfth scale (1:12). This is hand cast to the artist’s own design, and they are hand-finished, customised, clothed and posed. The boxes are custom made for the display of the figure. The figures are fixed in position and cannot be re-posed or handled.

Sarah Beare is an artist and designer working in the East of England.
Having originally studied and later lectured at Norwich School of Art and Design, she has since had a varied career doing every thing from fabricating props for film sets through to animation and book illustration. A natural gift for drawing and an extraordinary attention to detail remain at the centre of her exquisitely executed creations.
The “Twelvemo” figures displayed here are her most longstanding project. Each figure is a unique articulated human form, made in one twelfth scale (1:12). These are 3D printed to the artist’s own design, and they are hand-finished, customised, clothed and posed. The boxes are custom made for the display of the figure.
