The Play Patch Soft play hire for the under fives. Perfect for parties, weddings, christenings and corporate events. Beyond this delivery charges apply.

We also run a playgroup using the equipment, on Thursdays, at Bunwell Village Hall. The Play Patch bring a little "patch" of play to your event. We deliver the equipment, set it up complete with safety matting, and return to collect it when your event is over. We carry appropriate public liability insurance and pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our soft play. Equipment is available to hire on

weekends, although weekdays can sometimes be accommodated with prior notice. Prices include a hire period of 4 hours and free delivery within 10 miles of NR16 1HR. Please contact us for more details. Please note: equipment is available for indoor hire only. However outdoor hire in a floored marquee is considered acceptable.

The Play Patch is looking for a new owner. Could it be you?

It has been a fabulous 10 years running The Play Patch. When my children were little it offered a great work/life balance, allowing me the time to be with them, complete flexibility of income and has led to some lifelong friendships! But now they are older, it is time to hand over the ropes to someone else…

I ran it as a twice-weekly play group and also did soft play party hire at weekends, so there is the opportunity for you to do one or the other, or both!

A huge amount of equipment is included in the business:

🦄 Unicorn soft play package
🤹‍♂️ Four Soft Play Ball Pits
🛝 Giant obstacle course and balance beams 👶 Crawling baby soft play equipment
🧸 Sensory baby toys

Our social media page with an existing following of 1.4k is included, so you can hit the ground running. If you don’t have enough storage, note there may be some storage available at the village hall where I ran my group, if you continue running sessions there, so this may be an option for you.

Ideally I would like to sell as one lot, but I would consider splitting the playgroup element and party hire side, if two people are interested. The Melody Music part of the business will be available separately from September. Please drop me a message if interested!

This week will be the last week of Melody, as the lovely Alice has found a new job with increased hours. To say she will be massively missed is an understatement!

Thank you Alice Coyle for all your hard work at Brooke and Chedgrave 👏 👏👏

Parents are welcome to bring a picnic and stay after the session at Brooke on Tuesday, to eat lunch together and wish Alice well on her new adventure. I know many of you will miss her sessions.

A lovely week at Melody, some new faces and lots of returning children.
This week we have enjoyed bringing the sunshine’s out, dancing and making lots of noise with our bells and shakers.
The children had lots of fun with the parachute getting those little monkeys jumping.

Soft Play Sessions at Bunwell are open for booking!

Note the slightly later start time of 10.15am instead of 10am. This will just give me a little wiggle room to set up the hall after my school run! 😮‍💨 The sessions will still be an hour and 15 minutes long, so will finish at 11.30am.

The dates for soft play will be:

We will still be running soft play at Bunwell this term but due to my increasing work commitments it won’t be every week. Sessions will provisionally be Thursday 21st Sept, 19th October, 23rd November and 14th December. These will be uploaded to the booking calendar by end of tomorrow 😊
