Through our classes we want to inspire a new generation of circus enthusiasts, ensuring that this timeless art form continues to flourish. The Oak Circus Centre is the home of circus in Norwich. We love circus and want to share our passion and enthusiasm with you. At our home in the Grade 1 listed medieval church of St. Michael Coslany on Oak Street we provide professional courses and workshops fo

r all ages and for everyone from the complete beginner to the dedicated professional. Education is at the heart of everything that we do. Resident companies come and , run courses and use The Oak as a space to train, rehearse and create.

✨ FLY HIGH CONVENTION 2026

Two days. International tutors. Endless possibilities in the air.

Fly High returns to East Anglia on 24th and 25th October for a spectacular weekend of aerial and acrobatic training, creativity and connection.

This year’s line-up brings together incredible tutors from Mexico, Italy, Australia, Germany and the UK, bringing their skills, experience and unique approaches to two packed days of workshops.

Whether you’re looking to level up your training, discover something new, challenge yourself or simply spend a weekend surrounded by fellow circus people, Fly High is the place to be.

🎪 Want to take your circus training to the next level? Applications close TOMORROW.

If you’re aged 16–25 and serious about pursuing a career in circus or the performing arts, The Oak Circus Centre’s 8-month Pre-Professional Intensive Training Course is designed to help you get there.

From September to April, you’ll train 8–10 hours a week across physical preparation, flexibility, handstands, tumbling, movement, theatrical skills, act creation and solo performance development.

You’ll also get support preparing for auditions to professional circus schools in the UK and EU, plus guidance on your next steps and future training opportunities.

And it all leads towards a graduation performance, giving you the chance to put your training into practice.

🎪 We’re taking The Oak Circus Centre to the park!

We’re joining Mini Monkey Gym Norwich for a special morning of outdoor fun at Eaton Park and we’ll be bringing some circus skills along with us!

Little ones can have a go at circus activities alongside toddler obstacles, baby sensory, parachute play, water play and mini football. A morning full of movement, play and plenty of chances to try something new.
