End of an era!
We’re sad to announce that Outpost Studios will be closing on 28 February 2025.
Since 2010, OUTPOST Studios have provided affordable working space for hundreds of artists, fostering creativity and collaboration; alongside supporting OUTPOST’s arts programming and Gallery as part of our charity’s overall social enterprise model.
We are grateful for the time we have spent at Gildengate House – home to 90+ creatives at any one time, hundreds of artists have benefited from studio space over the past 15 years. Situated on a site destined for regeneration, our tenure has lasted far longer than we ever expected – however Norwich City Council's recent acquisition means the demolition of Anglia Square will commence this year.
Some of our resident artists have found new spaces, but others are still looking. If you have vacant studios/spaces please let us know via [email protected] We’re also seeking storage space for both OUTPOST and individual artists.
Meanwhile, OUTPOST Gallery has an exciting new programme planned for the year ahead, starting with Alexander Costello "It's Not About The Thing, It's About All Of It" opening on 15 February.
Moving forward, OUTPOST is always open to creative opportunities and collaborative ventures – be they physical spaces, shared ideas, or creative events – let’s talk!
