Burnt Coffee Theatre Company presents THE HEAD THAT BEARS.

A Grimm and Grizzly comedy by Lewis Garvey 🎭

Southwold Arts Centre Sun - 5th July.
Norwich Puppet Theatre - 8th, 9th, 10th July.

In the deep dark depths of a small woodland glade, a strange little girl discovers a golden crown hanging from a tree branch.

Greedy to claim it for themselves, three unpleasant young peasants try to trick her down from the tree-top: they spin her a series of twisted tales, depicting cursed kings, cheerless executioners, and bread-and-butter worshipping-butlers.

All the while, two looming figures observe the scheming ‘scallions from the darkness: the spectre of Death - and a big, brown bear…

Winner of the 2014 Minotaur Theatre Creative Writing Competition, Burnt Coffee Theatre Company are excited to bring this Grimm and Grizzly folk-tale to the weird and wonderful folk of Norfolk and Suffolk!

Suitable for ages 12+, featuring comic violence.

We say goodbye to the Psammead after our final performance at this evening. And, what a show it was! We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who supported The Five Children And It. Whether you were a talented actor, a hard-working crew member, or part of the enthusiastic audience - THANK YOU!

Theatre is to be enjoyed as a community, and ours is ever-growing ❤️
