THREE HOURS TO GO until concentric circles online presents Contemporary Love Monologues. This series of monologues has been devised by women - whoever defines themselves as such - through an open call.

After an overwhelming response, ten women were chosen to devise monologues through a series of creative writing workshops with activist and writer Belona Greenwood, Artistic Director of concentric circles’, Adina Levay, and Assistant Director Kate Cox.

The production seeks to create a chorus of women, cross-cultural and cross-generational. From young widowhood to the invisibility of ageing and q***r identities, these stories challenge generalisations about women and reveal the complex reality of our beating hearts.

The premiere of the production, devised and recorded on Zoom, premieres tonight at 7.30pm on YouTube and will be followed by a live Q&A. Anna is a yoga teacher living in Mexico City of English, German and Italian heritage. She joined the project to express her creativity and to explore the process of theatre making.

Contemporary Love Monologues is devised by women - whoever defines themselves as such - from all over the world, looking to tell their stories about love and gender.

Coral Nulla is a 19-year-old gender fluid writer living in the UK. They have been working on a coming-of-age novel about chasing your nightmares and are going on to start a Bachelor's in psychology.
