We'll keep you informed of what the project is doing, what we've done, and what we have coming up in the future. The Black dog Music Project is a Norwich based charity that provides help and support for people who have experience of mental health challenges or disability. We provide music sessions on two days a week at Earth Studios in Norwich. Members can either learn to play or sing from scratch

, or regain forgotten skills, with a goal to raising their confidence and self esteem. Members can join existing bands, or form new bands within the project. We are now in our 10th year and have helped so many people become less socially isolated and gain confidence, which in turn helps them deal with other barriers in their lives. It's not just about music - we offer support to our members with advocacy, form filling and advice. We are also a member group of the NCODP and are able to signpost members who need further help.

1 in 4 people suffer from mental health issues, and no one is immune from being affected at some point in their lives. We want you to know that there are organisations like the project here to help you when you need us.
