LEGACY is the all male dance company which formed following the massive success of Matthew Bourne's "Lord of the Flies" project in 2014. We train in many different styles of dance and work towards suitable performance opportunities throughout the year. No previous experience is necessary but natural ability, a desire to dance and commitment to the sessions and performances is paramount. Legacy con

sists of weekly company class hosted at Sprowston Diamond Centre, Norwich on a Saturday from 2-5pm. As well as receiving training in choreography and technique from qualified teacher and original East Anglian Ambassador Cat Chapman, there are also high profile industry guest teachers from around the country, delivering various styles of dance based movement. Admission to the company is by audition only for males aged 10 - 21 years. The sessions are predominantly funded, but there is a small company contribution required to aid with the successful continuation of the programme. Our Main Company had a fabulous theatre trip last Saturday to see Les Ballet Trockadero de Monte Carlo at Norwich Theatre 🎭

The performance had so much comedy and theatrics mixed with brilliant technique, the boys absolutely loved it 👌🏼

We can’t believe it’s been one whole year since ‘BROTHERS IN MOTION’ - our epic 10 year anniversary celebration show!! ⭐️

We saw boys companies and colleges travel from across the country to celebrate male dance together with our Legacy brotherhood! 💪🏼 Not forgetting our amazing Legacy alumni from the full 10 years!!

It was a truly magical day filled with passion, excellent performances and inspiration for all boys who dance! ✨

Our Mini Legacy 1’s, Mini Legacy 2’s and Main Company all performed at the Costessey Fete & Fayre on Sunday- and what an awesome performance it was! 💪🏼
