will be taking on the high priestess of Soul on Oct 23rd at !

Merchant’s Eve is a folk-rooted group led by Nathan Lisgo, blending storytelling, catchy melodies, and the occasional bit of oversharing (mostly via song).

For this performance, Nathan is joined by Bec Charlton, whose harmonies add warmth and depth, alongside her own carefully chosen songs that complement the set beautifully. Lead guitarist Bob Stillwell, whose playing adds texture and energy when performing as a trio.

Rooted in folk but happy to wander, their music mixes dry humour with emotional honesty. Inspired by artists who tell the truth — even when it’s uncomfortable — Merchant’s Eve find beauty in the everyday. Expect songs with heart, warmth, and the odd lyrical curveball.

first played a ReWork way back in 2023 for our Christmas show, so it's great to finally get her back to the RW stage for our Nina Simone ReWork on the 23rd of October at

Expect heartfelt lyricism and soulful melodies, crafting a sound described as pop-tinged neo-soul. We can't wait to hear it!

is a 23-year-old singer-songwriter and music artist. Born in London and bred in Norwich, she grew up immersed in a wide range of music that shaped her style. With her faith underpinning her storytelling, Alice-Lily connects with audiences through her heartfelt lyricism and soulful melodies, crafting a sound described as pop-tinged neo-soul: both contemporary and timeless. Her debut EP, Players, Parties & Platonic Love (February 2025) tells stories of navigating friendships and community in early adulthood. And we can't wait to hear her take on Nina Simon for our ReWork on the 23rd of October at

Featured artist: Ziggy Waldron

Ziggy Waldron is an elusive Industrial and electronic synth artist Norwich.
They are known for their weird synth and raw found sound music which
expands beyond noise into a tapestry of self- expression and constant
metamorphosis. Often compared to a young Trent Reznor, they are known
for creeping quietly into venues, creating live noise with their various
machines then disappearing into the shadows as quickly as they emerged.
Ziggy is heavily inspired by NIN, machine girl, aphex twin, pigface and many
other various 90s electronic artists.
