It is with great sadness we have lost GA at the Cathedral, it has been a beautiful partnership her and Norm, and been wonderful seeing them fledge so many strong juveniles. You will be missed you noisy bird ♥️

Today at the cathedral I was lucky to be able to capture these of the beautiful GA, the female Adult. Isn't she gorgeous. show the love :)

I tracked down a juvenile (L7) today myself and spotted him hiding in an unusual spot, unknown to the Hawk and Owl Trust his location. Was very happy to get the shots as he takes off, I had to wait though and got a little toasted in the process....
Don't stress - the posts of peregrines will reduce soon and will be limited but while they are about they are beautiful to observe and share with all.

Anyhow here is what I wanted to share, a few pics from action at Norwich Cathedral peregrines.....
Was so happy to get a food pass with 3 in shot. And the female adult at top of spire is 120 meters away 😉

From today at the Cathedral - I love the first position as it looks as though the tiercel has just fallen off his perch but the sequence shows his full intent..... Loving my photography again and love shooting these gorgeous birds of prey resident at the Cathedral.

After 2 hours of a fairly quiet morning at the cathedral, I was finally rewarded with this take off from a fledgling. They had been hiding a lot.
Tip..... if you have a UV filter on your lens consider removing it.... last week I left mine on forgetting I only used it for transportation, could not focus clearly, took it off and works great. Any extra glass will deteriorate your pics, especially cheap glass.....

Fledgling YS of the Norwich peregrine falcons. Today was the lowest I've seen one day in the 9 years I have been following them. Do share around the beauty of these birds and invite people to page if you think they'd be interested.
