The Bard's tragedy gets blasted into orbit, transformed into a cosmic Glam rock comedy featuring norse gods, gladiator pits, space misfits and a golden robot.
Containing adult language, puppet violence and at least one song that Shakespeare definitely didn't write, it is the ultimate treat for fans of Operation Mincemeat, Avenue Q and Forbidden Planet. 🪐

CASTING CALL: JOIN THE GALAXY’S GLAM-ROCK OPERA! 🚀
Are you ready to trade the stage for the stars? Open Door Theatre is searching for stellar talent to join the return of our original production of Space Hamlet for its LONDON debut! 🪐✨

Imagine a world where Shakespeare meets retro-futurism. Think David Bowie, Jim Henson, and Doctor Who colliding in a glam-rock, space-viking opera featuring high-energy music and a plethora of puppets! 🎸👾

THE MULTI-ROLE AVAILABLE:
🌟 Emperor Fortinbras: Human-identifying rock star (Think 70s Bowie/Peter Frampton).
🗿Verdi the Rock Nornir: Northern woman puppet (Think Victoria Wood/Julie Walters).
🛒 Threeian Trash Vendor: Cockney human.
🫟 Council Member: "Yip-Yip" style puppet.
🤖 Guildenbot: Robot (Non-speaking/C3PO style).

🎤 HOW TO APPLY:
For this role we will be casting via self-tape, all the information about the process and production can be found in the audition pack (link in bio)

(Tuesdays 7pm-10pm + Saturdays 10am-3:30pm).

Travel, Accommodation and Show Fee are included.
