⚽️This time last week I delivered two workshops for 50 Aviva employees in the Aviva Stadium Dublin! 🏟️
I was match fit and ready to go and it got me thinking…

When you need your team to deliver something exceptional, here’s what I’ve discovered…🪄✨
On Monday, in London, I took a total of 104 people at a well known insurance company out of their comfort zones and step by step, using the power of the arts, led them into their stretch zones!💪
At the end they all made a pledge and this was one of my favourites…
“I’m going to find ways to feel less awkward about trying new things and start being bold!”💥
In every Art After Dark workshop I see the same pattern; people SURPRISE themselves with what they are capable of.
This mindset shift has an impact on what they then do back in the workplace.
As humans, we’re creatures of habit. 🌀
We get stuck in patterns that feel safe and reassuring.🙅🏻‍♀️
🚀Sometimes we just need reminding of what we’re truly capable of to reignite our spark and unleash our full potential!💥

Lots to celebrate but this one caught me by surprise….

It’d be fair to say that I’ve had a good couple of weeks;

🥰 Working with a BIG new client’s team who are some of the most enthusiastic people I’ve ever worked with!
🙏 Launching the Art of Allyship open workshop with DEI expert Nadia Nagamootoo (she/her) 18th Jan!
🤓 Investing in my own L&D to build the best workshop experiences possible with a great cohort - we’re now meeting every month to share best practice!
🙌 Having lots of enquiries from companies who want me to help with their teams as well as other practitioners who are interested in collaborating!

However, today I went to collect my first ever Art After Dark branded t-shirt for next Monday’s workshop and it stopped me in my tracks! ✋🛑

It made me feel all warm and fuzzy!☺️

Building a business is not easy.

It’s possibly the hardest thing I’ve ever done.

But my mission to FLOOD THE WORKPLACE WITH HUMANITY has been strong enough to help me put one foot in front of the other.

And this little t-shirt whispered to me today, “ Keep going” 😌

Thanks to everyone who’s supported me thus far, cheering me on publicly and privately, for connecting me with amazing people and for entrusting me with their wonderful briefs and teams.💫
