A little history on our Hook-a-Duck stall, it has been in our family for well over half a century and the actual Ducks you catch on our stall are almost 60 years old they have been well cared for all of their life and have undergone many colour changes and habitats over the years, they have traveled 1000's of miles either packaged up in there crate as we move from event to event, and then in a water tank on our vintage round stall in the 1970's & 80's, and later on a rotating table surrounded by 100's of exciting and entertaining prizes, then moving on to a more sedentary long table in the first of our side stalls in the 1990's then in the mid 2000's they were back in the water for a short period in another of our side stalls, there have been a few famous faces along the way to from sports starts to TV personalities from local soap operas and news programs, and even the odd movie star... The prizes have changed a lot over the years but many are still similar like our bows and arrows, teddy bears, bouncy balls, dolls, & toy cars and I'm glad to say our Hook-a-Duck is still popular with the whole family and we occasionally get a visit from old customers with their grandchildren or even great grandchildren, and there is a chance that very same duck caught by Thier grandparents decades ago could be the one they have too 🦆
