Just letting everyone know, next year’s (Jan 2027) production will a pantomime version of THE WIZARD OF OZ, written by Becki and Phil Hosker. It’s a great script and we’re already looking forward to seeing it come alive on stage! We will be posting details of read through and audition dates etc. shortly.
The group want to encourage existing members to extend themselves and get involved in areas they may not have been involved in/considered before. With this in mind, we are inviting expressions of interest from anyone who would like to be involved in either directing or helping to direct, the show, or taking on the role of Producer. If you’re not sure of the difference, the Director is responsible for everything that happens on stage. The producer coordinates all the different aspects that combine to bring the show together. If you think you would like to have a go, even if its just a case of being mentored by someone more experienced, or would like a chat about what’s involved, please let me know by personal message or email ([email protected]), by Sunday, 9th AUGUST at the latest. We also have a vacancy for a Props Master/Mistress (the person who looks after all the props) so again, if you would like to help in that area, let me know.
