Finally broke my painting block I think! Something completely different to miniatures painting. Magic the Gathering! Iv been playing it at regularly and really enjoying the game!

A friend put me on to altering cards so iv taken a forest and turned it into a Triome! I'm not going to write the text on it though!

Started our campaign with a bang last night at 4 player, Pitfighters vs lizards vs Marienberg vs cult of possessed!

The game started with the lizards skirmishing vs marienburg exchanging fire, Pitfighters played very safe while the cult charged into the middle of the board!

The cult ended up just charging everything and rolling Very well! Naked cultists with double daggers just beating duel after dual but some hilarious moments where a cultist charged, tripped and failed his diving charge and removed himself from the fight landing on his neck badly!

Lots of fights happening across the board but the dark gods were smiling on the cult that day and they just got the upper hand in most fights!

The Marienberg knights of the holy order of St. Rebrand the faithful, form a defensive position.

Pushing into Mordheim they find themselves assaulted from both sides by reptilian creatures from tales and total lunatics!

They stood defiant and relied on their bravery, honour and the finest gear a Marienberg knight can buy (quite a lot actually).

This wasn't enough for their first foray into the cursed city and had to retreat to come bakc another day! Looks like this place lives up to its reputation!

My mate Sam's Warband featured here being, he had the most models on the board thanks to Marienberg extra 100 starting gold! His knight did excellently bonking cultists with his mighty hammer but that kroxigor crumbled his flank as the predstorial monstrosity spotted man flesh ad wanted a taste!

So Mordheim is a rediculous fun game! Starting a campaign at gaming space we set up an epic board and really proud of how it came together using the old seige walls from GW Altrincham and the 3d printed ruins and buildings!

Genuinely feeling inspired by this game like I haven't for a while! Want to paint kitbash and scenery to get some tasty looking games!

I painted mainly commissions for private clients and as a freelancer and I wish him all the best now with his push solo!

I had the pleasure of sharpening my skills at a Co hosted workshop weekend at with two extraordinary painters and !!

I also founded a new gaming business in Winsford with friends called which has been an incredible experience and has kept me busy!

Not as much painting time as I'd like for personal projects but got to spend a joyful year with my beautiful little family enjoying seeing my daughter grow each day! Thank you for all your support

Aims for 2026, paint a competition entry finally, grow Wizards retreat and run a paint workshop there. Most importantly, be the best dad I can!

Hey gang! I just painted up some 3D-printed rocks for the terrain at — hope you like them!

When was the last time you painted terrain??

Super simple and surprisingly therapeutic to paint — I actually used a makeup blender to build up the greys, then added some rust oil streak grime to get that iron-ore vibe, like rainfall leaching rust into the ground.

I’ve really caught the terrain bug lately and can’t wait to do more! These could fit right into the Old World, a sci-fi table, or honestly anywhere — rocks just… rock 😄

Printed on a K1 Max (FDM) and primed black.

Here's my Van Saar Archeotech Corben Vayl!

Armed with the unique Rad Beamer and an augmented archeotech cybernetic eye few can escape his line of sight!

Hes done a great job of melting a few brains already with the rad beamer! Really fun and swingy weapon that doesn't do a lot half the time but if it gets rad phage on an enemy ganger they're in trouble!

Love this model and the helmet, particularly with the vibrant glow effects! I want to do more work on the model but iv said to myself this gang is a faster paint job so I can more done!

Im definitely going to use this gang in other 28mm games too.

This one of two Juves my Van Saar gang started with and have survived two games!

So iv given them better gear! Hopefully Mira here will grow into a full fledged sniper one day!

Now armed with a Longlas rifle I can sit them at the back, plinking distant targets and keeping them safe!

When theres time ill add some freehand graffiti to their armour as the campaign progresses!

For I've been working on my demons of the ruinstorm project! I wanted a unique piece to be my Sovreign or Arch Demon, I found this mighty sculpt online of the Balrog!

Need to print the base next, had to do some greenstuff repair work as unfortunately some tearing occurred as it was so massive. I had to print on my GKtwo and completely filled the build plate!

Instead of printing again and wasting the resin, I decided to lock it in and get out my sculpting tools for some practice!

Can't wait to get some paint on this utter beast!

Torvek Gridle here! My Van Saar Augmek armed with a Scatter laser! Its a kitbashed laser shotgun!

I used the multi barreled weapon from one of the station forge kits for the walkers, choped it in half and turned the barrel upside down so it has an underslung flashlight!

Hes bad ass and in my game today he got absolutely chopped up by a palanite subjugate with a powersword! But in game two he did some work!

Iv given him the photonic engineer trait from Tech which makes all Las weapons +1 str bur give it unstable! Quite fun and he hits like a truck!
