Our incredible 2026 Festival has drawn to a close, and we want to say a huge thank you to our audiences. We hope you enjoyed every moment of your visits this season.

We broke attendance records, reached incredible artistic highs, sold out 12 of our 27 performances, and continued to stretch the boundaries of our programming and ambition.

Our 2026-27 membership year begins on 1 August, and we have a host of incredible events to share with our members and patrons, in addition to an incredible 10th Anniversary Festival line up which we will announce in due course.

Our incredible 2026 Festival comes to a close with one more performance of our 5-star, sold-out Eugene Onegin.

Our beautiful production of La Bohème, the Festival's best-selling show to date, takes its final bow this evening.

It has been such a joy to see eight nights of incredible performances unfold from this world-class cast and company. And if you've been lucky enough to catch it this summer, thank you for being part of this special performance. The joy of bringing together artists and audiences is the reason we do the work we do.

A huge congratulations to Ballet Black and M22 Collective on their incredibly well-received Festival performances.

Ballet Black lit up our stage for two evenings of dance with work from two remarkable choreographers: Hope Boykin's All Towards Hope, Mthuthuzeli November's Olivier-winning Ingoma, and Spirit Dances from his company M22 Collective.

Don't miss the final performance of our stunning La Bohème, already The Grange Festival's best-selling production ever, surpassing last year's record-breaking La Traviata.

Puccini's heart-breaking masterpiece is led by Richard Farnes, "one of this country's best operatic conductors." (The Guardian)

This performance of La Bohème is generously supported by the Laidlaw Opera Trust, who have also helped us bring more than 550 young people to this year's Festival through our Under 36 Tickets programme, many discovering opera for the first time.

Joining Ballet Black this summer is M22 Collective, a bold new dance company founded by acclaimed choreographer and former Ballet Black dancer Mthuthuzeli November.

He returns to The Grange Festival with Ingoma, performed by Ballet Black alongside their 25th anniversary work All Towards Hope, choreographed by Alvin Ailey star Hope Boykin, plus the premiere of M22's Spirit Dances. Three powerful works across two unmissable evenings, 8 & 9 July.

Congratulations to our vocalists and company on tonight's opening performance of The Soul of Opera. Catch soul star Jah'Mila, tenor Innocent Masuku and mezzo-soprano Melody Wilson in our second performance tomorrow, 3 July, with the Welsh National Opera Orchestra under the baton of conductor Daniel Bartholomew-Poyser.

Five stars for our new Eugene Onegin ★★★★★

Yesterday we opened our production of Tchaikovsky’s masterpiece to an appreciative audience and outstanding reviews. The Telegraph called it "an outstanding evening from a fine team, reinventing a great opera," and Bachtrack called it “unmissable.”
