One of my favourite things about wedding magic is getting people involved 👀🃏

Not just watching a trick, but actually being part of it.

A card signed by the bride, a decision made by the groom, and suddenly something completely impossible happens right in front of you.

It’s the sort of thing guests end up talking about long after the cake’s been eaten 😂

Just a little bit of magic to make the day even more memorable ✨

Good people, great atmosphere, plenty of laughs… and obviously a little bit of magic thrown into the mix 🃏😂

I love weddings like this - getting stuck in, meeting everyone, having a laugh with the guests and seeing those “hang on… HOW?” moments happen right in front of you.

This is what I love about close-up magic at weddings.

You can start with one person, and five minutes later their friends, family and even the kids have all joined in trying to work out what’s going on 😂

I love seeing the reactions when someone realises they’ve just been part of the trick themselves. There’s always that one person who immediately wants to know how it was done… and then spends the next ten minutes trying to catch me out 👀

It’s the kind of magic that just fits into the day. A few cards, a bit of fun and hopefully a few moments that people remember long after the wedding is over. 🎩

A little behind the scenes from a school magic workshop 🎩🃏

I love these sessions because it’s not just about showing kids a few magic tricks, it’s about getting them involved, having a go themselves and showing them that a bit of confidence, creativity and curiosity can go a long way.

There’s always a LOT of questions, a few very suspicious kids trying to work out how I’m doing it… and usually at least one child who is convinced they’ve caught me out 😂

And honestly, those are my favourite moments.

You start planning a wedding and think you’ve got it all covered…

Venue ✔️
Dress ✔️
Food ✔️
Music ✔️

Then you realise you also need someone to actually keep the whole day moving 😂

This is exactly why having the right magician AND toastmaster can make such a difference.

It’s not just about the magic (although that definitely helps 😉). It’s having someone who knows what needs to happen, keeps everyone in the right place at the right time, works with your suppliers and takes the pressure off you.

And as this lovely couple said, being able to relax and let someone else handle the day made all the difference. ✨

I’ll happily take that as a review 🫶🏼🎩
