Dear Friends,
Please forgive me for being in silent mode all winter. I have been on a waiting list for gallbladder surgery for nearly a year.
In the meantime, my heart condition is a little worse, increasing the risk of anaesthetic death. Furthermore, having given up eating meat a year ago, I no longer have any gallbladder symptoms. On the advice of my consultant, I have decided not to have the operation. Instead, I will try to look after myself a bit better and plan for a short tour in 2027 to celebrate my eightieth.
