Happy New Year!
I have compiled some of my paintings and drawings that I have not decided to turn to face the wall.
For those who know me well you will know what this means already.
At the tail end of 2023 I was lucky enough to attend an intensive drawing course in Paris with where I was working from the live model in their beautiful studio in Montmartre or from statues and casts in the , all the while receiving lectures and critiques from Tim Stotz who’s skill and passion was not only utterly inspiring but has truly changed the way I look at the world.

It was a life changing experience and I have come back ready to make more art, improve my skills through practice and generally commit far more of myself to my practice.
It has also meant that I have come back to my studio of works and cant help but see how much they could improve.
But rather than be too dramatic (for example burning everything I find fault in) I have just turned a few around to be returned to later.

But this is the new year and should be started positively. Therefore here are the works that have made it into 2024 not turned around!!!
