NMPAT Holloway Centre Welcome to NMPAT Holloway Centre. We meet every Saturday during term time at Malcolm Arnold Academy. Be Inspired, Be at NMPAT Holloway.

Interested in Performing Arts? It's all at NMPAT Holloway. NMPAT Holloway Centre is all inclusive and everybody is welcome. It doesn't matter if you don't already play an instrument at school, there will be activities for you! We have over 40 classes in dance, music and drama for aged 3-18, with regular performance opportunities. We hold regular concerts, perform in the local music and drama festi

val, and events around the town. Our Early years classes (Nursery, Reception and Year 1) run from 9:30 - 11:00. For children in year 2, the classes finish at 12:30 with the option of attending a Young Performers Club from 11:45 - 12:30. Our main centre classes (Year 3 and above) are divided into four sessions, with the option of attending as many, or as few as you like. Can you believe that Holloway Centre will be opening its doors for 26/27 tomorrow for our registration morning?!???

There are no classes tomorrow, these re-start on the 12th, but we would love to welcome you along to our registration morning!!!

If you haven’t joined us before, come along 9:30-10:30 to see our Centre, meet amazing Centre staff and see what classes we offer - there’s something for everyone 🙂

I can’t believe it’s been a week since our end of year performance?!?!? Who’s ready to do it all again 🙌🙌

A HUGE well done to all our of our super talented performers for their performances last week - you were all incredible and we’re so very proud of you all!

I’d like to also say a HUGE thank you to our team of staff and parent helpers at Holloway Centre - thank you for all you do!

Congratulations to the winners of final Holloway Shining Star awards of the year, Hana & Azahlia, and congratulations to all of our nominees - you are all amazing!!!

What a bunch of superstars we have at Holloway Centre ⭐️

On Saturday, we were treated to two performances.

The first performance was from our incredible Little Stars group, who showed their families what they had beens learning about this term and what an amazing job they did!!! These students range from 4-7 and performed so brilliantly, you would easily think they were twice that age!!!
Well done, everyone!
A huge thank you must go to our Little Stars team Vicki, Libby, Bella and Miya for doing such a fantastic job 💜

Our second performance was from Henry and his percussion groups World Percussion, Ready Steady G***k and Explore Percussion - wow! Just wow! The concentration, the commitment, the energy and enthusiasm from these students was incredible and we have some very talented percussionists in our midsts!
Who knew that a bucket could sound like a drum kit 🤷🏼‍♀️ genius!
A huge thank you and congratulations to Henry, who has now completed his first year with us!

Well done to all those who performed and I’m looking forward to all our main centre performances next week!

Whilst we await for advice on whether we are able to open as normal this weekend, here are some photos from some of the fun we had last weekend!

Global percussion we’re doing some interesting and complex call and response patterns - Mrs HC was very impressed!

Kat was having fun in Drama!

And Ebony was playing tuba in cowboy hat - obviously!

But the sound from Fiddle Fiesta 😮 amazing!!! We have some very talented string players at Holloway Centre!!!

What a fantastic day we had on Saturday 🎶

We welcomed over 20 new students, and their families, to our Centre Open Morning and we received lots of lovely comments about our Centre 💜

Whether you joined us on Saturday for the first time, or the hundredth time, we hope you had a wonderful morning 🙂

Chris was over come by the reggae beat in keyboards and Mr Smith was “playing the saxophone” in Rock Band 🎸

Congratulations to our Holloway Shining Stars for this half term, Joey & Lewis, and a HUGE congratulations to all of our nominees - you’re all wonderful! 🌟

Finally, as a reminder Centre will be closed for the next two Saturday’s 😞 so we will see you all again on the 6th June!

What a fantastic bank holiday morning we had at Centre today 🙂

Team Bayley were back in the building 🙌🏻

There was some fantastic fan work in dance and also some dancing going on in Drama 🎭 💃

Miss Roberts “was in the zone” in choir, whilst Mr Smith and his Training Rock & Poppers showed us their best “rock “n” roll” poses! 🤘

Libby was teaching our Little Stars about projecting their voices and Miss Retford was… being Miss Retford! 😂
