💙We had the most stressful journey back home from Turkey last week with the craziest, busiest airport I’ve ever known and long delays … so when our suitcases didn’t appear on the carousel, it was safe to say our stress levels were HIGH 😩😂

✍🏼Of course I wanted all our luggage back (including wedding outfits for my girls for two days later 🤦🏼‍♀️🤯) but there were three things I was particularly worried about…

1. My handbag.
2. My necklace.
3. And my folder full of holiday “rubbish” 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

💙Because if you’re a creative person, you’ll understand that tea bags, pretty packaging, breakfast buffet jam pots and random wrappers are NOT rubbish when you’ve been collecting them for your junk journal!!

These things couldn’t be replaced!

🙏🏼THANKFULLY … after 5 looong days … everything eventually made its way back to us.

✍🏼Nearly 4 hours of work condensed into 9seconds!

🌿 LOVED creating this whopper of a table plan at for a very special bride… Sarah and I used to work together at my first very teaching job nearly - gulp - 20 years ago!

💙A lovely recent commission… and one I feel a little vulnerable sharing, if I’m really honest. 🫣

✍🏼This is my first watercolour piece where the focus is more on the drawing + painting than the calligraphy … so it feels a little outside my usual comfort zone!

And then there’s Croissant Legs. 🥐🍓
What a cute nickname for a little girl 💕It makes me reminisce about my own girls at that gorgeous, squishy nappy stage… the chubby legs, the funny little nicknames and all those tiny things you never think you’ll forget. 🥹

Which got me wondering…
