MOSAIC LETTERS - 12th August
Make an eye catching design using colourful foam tiles to create your mosaic

PAINT, PRINT AND DOODLE A TOTE BAG - 26th August
Create your own stylish bag using acrylic paints, printing stamps and paint pens

For ages 7-12 years

At Crazy Kingdom, Northallerton

10-12pm PLUS 2 hours soft play afterwards!

Only £16 for each workshop, 10% off if you book all 3!

Kids must be accompanied by an adult

This Saturday at Pealie's Barn...

There's live music throughout the night from Gents & Ginger, Chloë Wilson, and Izzy Neish.

And there will be plenty of art too... make your own flower crown or posy, try flower printing and card making, or add your own mark to large collaborative canvases with Ruth’s Art Space.

Plus, Darlington tattoo artist Ginge & Needles, known for her incredible floral design, will also be creating floral body art designs on lino which you can create a temporary tattoo with through the evening.

There'll be delicious wood-fired pizzas coming fresh from the oven, alongside a locally sourced bar with drinks from nearby breweries and distilleries.

A relaxed evening of music, flowers, art, food and good company as we celebrate the longest day of the year in the middle of the Yorkshire countryside. Everyone’s welcome.

This Saturday I'll be joining Pealie's Barn to celebrate the Summer Solstice! It really is the perfect place to be on the longest day of the year 😊

There will be live music, floral crafts, wood fired pizzas, locally sourced bar and floral temporary tattoos.

And I'll be there doing some big collaborative canvases... I can't wait! Why don't you join me?

Sad times, an incredible Yorkshire artist! RIP.

Such an amazing career, an inspiration to many, his works are many and wonderful.

We are deeply saddened by the death of David Hockney, one of the most influential artists of our time. Our thoughts are with his friends, family and colleagues.

A statement from our Chair, Sir Nicholas Serota:

"David Hockney was an artist of constant invention. From his early pop works to his iconic paintings of California pools, to his Yorkshire landscapes and the abundance of nature that he discovered in Normandy, he explored how we see the world and how we relate to one another.

"He was full of humility about his achievements but his work was admired across the world, with nearly a million visitors to his exhibition in Paris last year, and his legacy is immeasurable. He was, quite simply, a great artist."

Under the sea - theme today for Sensory Art with the fantastic Mitchell House, Mencap supported living.

We had bubbles, water, sea sounds and lots of textures.

And, as always, oodles of fun, smiles and meaningful participation.

If this is something that will benefit people you know, DM me and I'll happily bring my 'art space' to you!! Any age or ability, I'm very flexible and able to adapt activities.

Today's art group at Mencap Northallerton & the Dales experimented with creating underwater backgrounds and making gorgeous textured jellyfish.

Then we had fun designing windmills and making them whizz around 😍
